ABOUT THE TIME I WENT TO CUBA

Den 2a Maj för ett år sedan åkte jag, mamma och storebröderna iväg till Kuba. Jag har svårt att tro att det faktiskt är ett år sedan. Tiden bara går så otroligt fort. Jag tänkte att i och med att det är ett år sedan så är det säkert dags att visa en del bilder åt er och även berätta lite om resan. Detta inlägg kommer att vara om flygresorna dit så inte hemskt mycket bilder från självaste Kuba, men jag lovar att det kommer så mycket att ni hinner tröttna på dem. 

Det jag verkligen kan säga just nu är att jag vill så mycket tillbaka. Det är helt galet!

The 2nd of May a year ago me, mom and my big brothers went of to Cuba. I have a really hard time believing that it is actually a year ago. The time just flies by so fast. I thought that I would go through the trip with you now since well, it has been a year and I haven't done it before. This post is gonna be about the trip there so not many pictures from Cuba, but I promise that they are coming and they are many and you will get sick of them. 

What I can tell you is that I want to go back so much. It is crazy!

Jag och mamma tog tåget till flygplatsen. Alltså det är nog så bra att man nuförtiden kan ta tåg hela vägen till flygplatsen. Det är ju så supersmidigt. Jag har en underlig vana att ta bild på väskorna när vi är påväg någonstans och lägga ut på facebook så jag gjorde det. Dessa väskor bestämde ju sen att ta en liten resa för sig själva, men det hade vi ju ingen aning om ännu i detta skede. Vi kanske borde ha gissat det då när det var strul på flygplatsen med i checkandet av baggage. 

Mom and me too the train to the airport. It is so great that you now can take the train all the way to the airport. It is so easy. I have a weird habit of taking a picture of the bags when we are going somewhere and putting it on facebook so that is what I did. These bags did decide to take a trip of their own, but that we had no idea about at this point. We probably should have guessed it when there was some trouble at the airport with the check in of bags. 

Första flyget var ett kort till Paris där vi mellanlandade och fick spendera ett par timmar. Jag hörde rykten om att det går eller skall börja gå raka flyg härifrån, men jag har inte kollat om det stämmer. Då måste man åtminstone byta flyg. 

The first flight was a short one to Paris where we had to change flight and hang out for a few hours. I heard some rumours that there is now or is coming a flight that goes straight but I am not sure. A year ago you had to change in Paris.

Där satt vi då ett par timmar och åt lite och pratade strunt. Jag hade på mig mina semesterbyxor som bara skriker sommar och sol. Selfien är ju dessutom ett måste överallt och den bevisar också att detta är ett år sen för mitt hår är mycket längre nuförtiden. Men glad var jag och så peppad över att få besöka Kuba. Mindre glad över det superlånga flyget som var framför oss. 

We sat there a few hours ad talked and ate. I had on my vacationpants which do scream summer and sun. The selfie is a must all places and it also does prove that it is a year ago since my hair is a lot longer these days. But I was happy and so excited to get to see Cuba. Less happy over the long flight that was before us. 

Jag är definitivt inte en expert på flygplansmat då jag väldigt sällan åker så långa sträckor att man skulle få mat. Jag var bara glad över att maten var sådan att jag fick ner den eftersom vi alla vet att jag är lite petig när det kommer till mat.

I am not an expert when it comes to airplane food since I rarely travel far enough to actually get food. I am just happy that the food was something I could eat since we all know that I am very picky about food. 

Gourmet var det ju inte, men helt bra. 

Det som räddar längre flyg är definitivt att de har skärmar där man kan se på filmer eller lyssna på musik. Jag kollade några filmer och tiden gick mycket fortare. 

It wasn't gourmet, but it was okay. 

The thing that really saves the long flights is the screen where you can watch movies or listen to music. I watched a few movies and it made the flight go so much faster. 

Det var ett så långt flyg att vi fick även mera mat.

När vi sedan steg ur planet och kom igenom alla gates och allt så blev det att vänta på väskorna. Vi väntade och väntade och väntade. Inget kom. De var borta. Den enda väskan som kom var Js. Resten av oss blev utan. Det var bara att meddela om det och sedan åka till hotellet.

Jag kan nämna att bilresan till hotellet var en upplevelse i sig eftersom kusken körde så fort och man såg knappt något. Det var mycket spännande. Vi såg definitivt inte mycket av Kuba direkt när vi kom.

It was such a long flight that we got even more food. 

When we finally got off the plane and through all the gates it was time to get the bags. We waited and waited and waited. Nothing came. They were gone. The only bag that found its way was Js bag. The rest of us didn't get ours. All we could do was tell them at the airport and then go to the hotel. 

I can mention that the car ride to the hotel was an experience since the driver drove like a crazy person and it was so dark you couldn't see much. So we didn't see much of Cuba when we came. 

Hotellrummet var mycket fint. När jag tänker på Kuba så tänker jag definitivt färger och det var nog rummet.

The hotelroom was so nice. When I think of Cuba I do think colorful and the room was that. 

Sen var vi en sväng ner på en drink, men efter det var det nog dags att gå och sova. Som jag sa i början så inte mycket Kuba ännu. I nästa inlägg kommer det nog. Vänta ni bara.

Jag kan ju också nämna att alla bilder kommer att vara en blandning av Canon EOS, Canon IXUS och iPhone bilder. Det är inte lätt när man är fotograf och bloggare.

Then we went down for a drink but after that we did crash into bed. As I said not much of Cuba yet. In the next one there will be. You just wait. 

I can mention that all the pictures will be a mix of Canon EOS, Canon IXUS and iPhone pictures. It is not easy when you are a photographer and blogger.
